The album “Đűpoles” is the debut album of the singer. There are included completely new songs, written specially for the singer by maestro Raimonds Pauls. The texts of the songs have been written by Guntars Racs.
This record came out for the first time in 1972 and till now it was available only in a form of big vinyl plate. In this recording as in all previous editions of this series there are used the original recordings, and in the latest edition there is used also the original style of the album. The 13th, 14th, and 15th songs have been taken from the small record “Manai Dzimtenei”/“To My Motherland”/ produced in 1973.
“In the programme of this recording I as the pianist tried to include those melodies which (as one can say) “stick to the fingers”. Because not each melody I could play. It is the same as with the singer – only he himself feels what is needed and what he wants to perform. This time I chose well-known, classical melodies like those by Gershvin, Chaplin, and Porter.
In January 2002 was issued in compact disc version record “Tik dzintars vien” recorded in 1970. The album has preserved the former original style and it is supplemented with information and photos not published earlier.
The record came out in 1971 for the first time and was available up to the present moment only in this format. In 2002 it was re-issued repeatedly and now is available also in compact discs and cassettes. “Tell Where the Land is” is the third album by Raimonds Pauls.
There are recorded 13 completely new songs written by Raimonds Pauls, the first-night performance of which took place during the Maestro’s 65-anniversary concert in January 2001.
For the repertoire of the album Maestro on purpose has chosen the melodies created during the last years by that trying to prove that everything goes on and Pauls is the same Pauls who always offers to us something new.
In this record are included popular songs written by Raimonds Pauls during the period from 1965-1969. This genre has very significant place in his creation. But not with less success the composer proves his strength in the so-called “serious” music writing compositions for chamber jazz, piano compositions, music for theatre performances and films.
The album of Maestro’s spiritual music where are used the texts of Christian songs of different time periods. The album has been recorded in 2002 in Liepaja St. Trinity church together with the choir “Absolventi” and solo-singer Normunds Rutulis. The concert of this album was performed in several charity events in many churches of Latvia.
Double album devoted to Maestro Raimonds Pauls 60th anniversary. In the album there are included popular songs, music from films and instrumental music written by the composer during more than 30 years of his carrier.
